A very well known and fast growing company in San Antonio currently has an opening for a Sales Account Manager to sell nurse call systems and all related products, systems, and services in the San Antonio health care commercial market. The prospective candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process of quoting/bidding, negotiating, following up and closing the sales opportunities to ensure a profitable growth in the San Antonio health care commercial market. Job Responsibilities: Business Development  Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings.  Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support the assigned sales plan.  Establish contact/relationships with electrical contractors, end users and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing marketing strategies.  Establish contacts/relationships with building management companies and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing marketing strategies. Client Service  Candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain relationships with engineers, electrical contractors, owners and building management companies.  Respond to customer needs in an enthusiastic and timely manner. Account Management  Be responsible for coordinating services (installation, customer training, etc.) to assure complete customer satisfaction.  Investigate and resolve customer issues regarding delivery dates, billings, financing and other related matters.  Work with the accounting and operations departments to ensure the timely completion of each job sold. Candidate Qualifications:  Be self-motivated with dedicated client services focus and strong desire to succeed.  Be able to read diagrams, blueprints and specifications.  Be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and the Internet to obtain answers to industry related questions.  Have experience in the bidding/negotiating process.  Have effective listening and questioning skills.  Have strong verbal/written communication skills.  Have an understanding of health care systems, products and services.  Have design knowledge of the construction industry and be familiar with local and national fire codes.  Have a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) Level II certification (desirable but not required).  Have a BS in Marketing or Business (desired but not required).  Be energetic.  Have excellent organizational skills.  Be willing to learn new technologies.  Have a successful history of working independently. Minimum Requirements:  Have 2 years experience in selling in the health care market.  Have a valid Driver’s License with clean DMV record.
