The Future Combat Systems program is an exciting and dynamic, US Army initiative that will revolutionize combat operations and ensure success on the future battlefield. As the Lead System Integrator (LSI) for this program, SAIC and Boeing have entered into a unique partnership with the Army and “the best of industry” to achieve the aggressive technical and schedule goals of this $21B program. This contract places Boeing/SAIC in a unique partnership role with government on a program that is key to the Army transformation goals. We have multiple immediate openings for the following positions:
• Sr. Manager, Product Assurance Team - The qualified candidate will have more than 15 years experience in program management and systems engineering. Also experience on a medium to large, DoD Combat Systems design and development projects; demonstrated capability and past success in leading multi-functional program teams through the systems acquisition process from development to production, fielding, and sustainment activities; and a high degree of knowledge in the areas of Information Assurance (IA), Software Systems Certification & Accreditation (C&A), Cross Domain Solutions, Networking Technologies, Identity Protection (Public Key Infrastructure [PKI] and Key Management), Systems and Software Safety analysis, and Software Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Testability (RAM-T).
• Embedded Software Development Engineer - Duties include C++, Java, XML, Linux OS, Lynx OS, Unix shell and/or PERL scripting.
* Project Management Analyst - Lead, direct and manage the risk and change management activities, including coordination and delegation of tasks and assignments.
• Systems Engineer - Interface Control Document Development - A minimum of 9 years experience in an engineering classification and 3 years recent experience in interface documentation development required. The candidate must work independently with minimum guidance and very closely with the sub-team leads. The candidate will occasionally serve as a backup sub-team lead and must be a team player. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly on ideas/concepts. The candidate must have computer skills including Windows Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Knowledge with the DOORS or equivalent database requirements management tools is a plus to support the interface traceability verification.
• Sr. Systems Engineer for Integration Events - The Sr. SE position has to be thoroughly familiar with the following: SE lifecycle practices, SE applied to large scale SoS high software content systems, hands-on knowledge of DOORS tool, requirements writing, experience in integration of field events, experience in integration of laboratory events.
• Information Assurance Engineer - Seven (7) years engineering experience, with a minimum of five (5)years relevant Information Assurance experience in the security industry,; preferably in the military system. The candidate should have a working knowledge of DOD and Army IA regulations and the DIACAP Process. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, develop and manage security architecture, policy and requirements. The Preference will be given to candidates should who have security background in Army tactical network, e.g.and are familiar with: COMSEC (Communications Security), INFOSEC (Information Security), DoD and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), basic understanding of security disciples, like Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Firewall, Cryptography, Key Management, HAIPE.
• Test Integration Engineer - Must have experience with PERL and Unix shell scripting and XML.
Please note that due to the contract, US Citizenship is required for all of these positions. In addition, all candidates will need to be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
