Our client, located in Kansas City, KS, a global leader in the manufacturing industry, currently seeks a Safety Manager.

The Safety Manager is responsible for:

Managing plant safety and occupational health by enforcing plant’s policies and procedures as well as ensuring that training is completed and requiredPerforming safety program studies to identify problem areas and develop loss control goals and proceduresWorking closely with Union bargaining board and Safety Committees to improve safety performanceRunning the plant’s Safety RIA processSupervising industrial hygiene monitoring, evaluating test results, and recommending appropriate action     

 

Candidates must have:

A Bachelor’s DegreeExperience within a union manufacturing facility5-7 years in safety/health activityA desire to be hands-on to work directly with employees to implement solutions MUST have implemented a Behavioral Safety System

 

Compensation:

$ 80,000.00 - $ 95,000.00
