Horizon Hobby is currently seeking a dedicated safety and security professional to join our team.  The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for coordinating all phases of safety and security programs to ensure a safe and healthful work environment for our associates. It is the responsibility of the Safety and Security Manager to perform these functions for the Illinois facilities as well as monitoring these programs for our California facilities. This includes assigning and training safety representatives at each facility to address safety issues as needed.

· Regulatory Compliance
· Health Hazard Control
· Ergonomics
· Hazardous Materials    Management
· Environmental Protection
· Accident and Incident   Investigations
· Return-To-Work Program
· Security Procedures
· Loss Control
· Inventory Shrink Investigation
· Business Continuity Planning


 

The ideal candidate will possess:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, or equivalent

· Minimum of three years experience as a safety professional with thorough understanding of OSHA regulations is required
· Security experience including loss prevention, investigation procedures, and knowledge of security system             hardware and software
· Experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing facility preferred
