Summary/General Description of Job:
Task Order Manager is responsible for each Task Order as assigned.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Responsibilities include project design and estimating, project planning, coordination and control. Responsible for the Successful management and completion of many projects requiring extensive design and coordination with many SABER team members to include BEC, Contracting, and the Base Architect. Additionally responsible for the preparation of design sketches and as-built red-lines as well as providing the Eielson SABER office with hardcopies and digital copies on the appropriate media. Task order managers must have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, manage subcontractors, prepare and negotiate change orders to the Government and with subcontractors, work with minimal to no supervision, make good judgment/value decisions, work under pressure to meet deadlines and be highly organized.
· Task order Manager is the liaison between the Government’s Project Manager and Chugach Industries.
· Responsible for the Initial estimate and the negotiations with the Government for each Request for proposal.
· Responsible for writing a complete scope of work for each Task Order.
· Responsible for Subcontracting and compiling a budget for each Delivery Order, and forwarding budget to the Site Manager.
· Responsible for Scheduling and holding Pre-Construction meetings with the subcontractor, the end user, and the government project manager.
· Responsible for all revisions to the Task Order, and the negotiation of said revision with the subcontractor and the government.
· Responsible for obtaining submittals from the subcontractors and vendors and submitting them to the government for approval.
· Responsible for compiling a schedule together for each Task Order and seeing that the schedule is updated weekly.
· Responsible for assisting the Quality Control Manager and Superintendent in compiling a final completion of each project. Is responsible for submitting all Task Order documents to the Office Administrator for proper filing.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:College degree or equivalent experience in construction.Knowledge of Means estimating and/or Unit Price Book estimating. Computer experience with mid-range and P.C. systems.Must have good written and oral communication skills.Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.Preferred:Knowledge and use of latest version of AutoCAD.Good interpersonal skills and able to work closely in group environments.Knowledge of construction management and construction processes.
