Job Description:
Primary Activities

Recruit and retain installation contractors who meet established standards of quality. Negotiate contractor payments. Schedule contractor's work assignments.

Inspect all jobs prior to beginning, during and after completion. Ensure signs are properly located at job site. Inspect and supervise replacement of all deteriorated wood. Resolve all installation issues with in 24 hours.

Ensure customers are satisfied with entire process and the completed installation. Collect final payment from customer. Coordinate and communicate with applicable departments to ensure resolution of all customer issues.

Assist with training of Field Inspectors. Ensure all project paperwork is completed. All other duties assigned by Manager.

Position Reports to Title Installation Manager

No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance.

Environmental Job Requirements

Environmental Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Travel
1. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Minimum Age 18

Education
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or G.E.D.

Physical Job Requirements

Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8 - 20 pounds).

Additional Qualifications

Must pass drug and background test. Must pass pre-employment tests, if applicable. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must possess general math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge or experience in the home improvement industry; including, but not limited to roofing, siding and windows

Professional appearance

Able to multi-task, strong organizational skills, initiative to complete tasks with little or no direction, self motivated

Basic to intermediate computer skills

Basic skills in written and verbal communication

Knowledge of relevant products, application, industry and market knowledge

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal)

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; keep accurate records and follow up as necessary to complete customer's job accurately and on time

Good interpersonal skills with a strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills

Incorporate safety precautions to ensure project meets and/or exceeds customer's expectations








The Project Manager function is responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation and completion of the customer's job; while ensuring the job is completed on time, within specified cost and to the customer's satisfaction.
