Magline is a manufacturer/provider of material handling equipment and solutions designed for use by customers who use route distribution to deliver product to the marketplace. Key Job Responsibilities:
Travel to each population center within the territory on a pre-established weekly schedule managing a fully equipped, stocked service vehicle, visiting customers on a monthly basis. Maintain and operate a company service vehicle, tools, equipment and an appropriate inventory of parts and productsInspect customer equipment and provide recommendations and proposals regarding repair, maintenance, upgrades and replacement Process customer orders and deliver products and parts as promised and scheduledDevelop targeted customers in your territory through on-site demonstration, sales, delivery, repair and maintenance of material handling equipmentCall on prospective new customers within the designated service territory as planned Negotiate on-site consigned inventory plans and equipment purchase, trade-in and maintenance programs Work closely with customers to ensure we understand their applications, specifications and expectationsCreate strong business relationships by helping customers reduce costs, increase capacity, and improve operator safety and productivity.Key Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required, college coursework is a plusMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to pass the DOT physical and receive medical examiners certificate Must be willing to travel over night throughout the assigned service territoryMinimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in a self-directed sales and/or service position with demonstrated skills and experience with direct customer interaction Must demonstrate experience in assembly and repair of mechanical equipmentMust have an understanding of inventory control and managementExperience in route delivery operations is a plusMust have working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft productsExperience with commercial driving is desired, must have the ability and inclination to drive a commercial vehicle in heavy traffic, for long distances, and on the highwayMagline offers a competitive base salary, plus incentive bonus, and a complete benefits package which includes Medical, Prescription, Vision, Dental, Flex Spending, Tuition Reimbursement, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation and more...
