The Rotating Advisor supervises Technicians, provides RC coordination of reliability support by managing the workload of day to day maintenace and prevententive maintenance work orders. Reviews Production Team schedule to remain current with upcoming work and make recommendations to optimize schedule as appropriate. The advisor will also assist Planners with scoping of complex jobs, and work with T/A & MI Reliability Engineer to provide tactical turnaround and MI support (scope development, execution coordination, auditing, review and revision).


Job Duties and Responsiblities
Supervisor responsilbility for direct reports include:
• performance development reviews
• Line of sights - planning and feedback
• managing training and development for Technicians
• managing time and attendance, leave requests and scheduling

Technical Support for Technicians to include:
• Provide craft and technical advice to Technicians for repair work.
• Look for and make recommendations to optimize PM and repair procedures as appropriate.
• Provide training on reliability topics.
• Assist Technicians on being self motivated and self directed.

Technical Support for RC’s:
• Provide a point of contact to the RC’s for technical issues and raise them to the reliability engineering level as appropriate.
• Provide MOC support (initiation if initiation within group, assist RCC with documenting description of change (inc., P&ID, Loop & Spec Sheets for maintenance changes), technical review and sign off)
• Assist with technology review and support as necessary (right knowledge)

T/A Support:
• Stay informed of Plant T/A and outage schedules.
• Develop T/A scopes
• Ensure T/A WORs are entered for all draft scope items.
• Schedule and coordinate review meeting with RCC and Craft Planner to get RCC buy-in on final draft.
• Attend T/A scope review meetings with Craft Planner and other personnel as necessary to ensure final approved scope is established.
• Work with the Execution Coordinator, Craft Planner, and Group leads to coordinate execution activities and help with resolution of issues during T/A (i.e., flow of plans, personnel, material, schedule, and cost).
• Ensure development of new/revised T/A tasks based on discoveries and findings during T/A.



Work Experience/Skills REQUIRED 
5 + years experience working within maintenance / rotating group. Certificate of completion from a vocational school, relative industry expertience or equivalent military training. 

Work Experience/Skills PREFERRED 
Previous supervisory / leadership experience

Education REQUIRED 
High School Education
