Our Austin and Dallas offices are seeking Roadway Task Leaders to lead teams of project engineers in preparing plans, specifications, estimates, schematic development, project scheduling, agency and client coordination, QA/QC. These positions will report to the Senior Project Director on the Oklahoma-to-Mexico (TTC-35) portion of the Trans-Texas Corridor. Responsibilities include organizing and planning highway design tasks, developing design approaches and methodologies, executing and compiling design computations, preparing technical reports and studies, executing all technical aspects of highway design tasks related to geometrics, layouts, profiles, construction details, contour grading, water pollution control, erosion control, drainage, utility design & relocations, stage construction, traffic handling, signing, and pavement delineation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong interpersonal skills to manage and coordinate project team members. Requirements: Successful candidates will have a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Masters preferred, at least 15 years of experience, and a Texas PE, or the ability to obtain a Texas PE within 6 months of the date of hire. Please have thorough knowledge of roadway geometric design and Texas Department of Transportation design guidelines & procedures in both schematic design and final design projects.
