Help Supplemental Health Care be a leader in the industry by acting as the Registered Nurse (RN) who promotes and restores patients' health; identifies patient care requirements; establishes a compassionate environment; promotes patient's independence; assures quality of care; resolves patient problems and needs; maintains safe and clean working environment; protects patients and employees; documents patient care services; maintains continuity among nursing teams; maintains patient confidence and protects operations; ensures operation of equipment; maintains nursing supplies inventory; maintains professional and technical knowledge; maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams; contributes to team effort.

Qualifications

Has extensive knowledge of the uses, dosages, side effects of medications as they apply to different disease states. Able to assess clinically whether medication is effective.

Superb diagnostic and clinical skills. Able to obtain an excellent history, perform an extensive physical, create a differential diagnosis, and formulate a treatment plan.

Experienced in working with highly infectious specimens and minimizing the hazards of infection.

Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively with others in the medical team.

Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.

Excellent, in depth knowledge of physiological functions and processes as they relate to issues of patient care.

Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.

Displays professionalism, compassion, and sound medical practice when dealing with challenging patients.

Sets a comfortable tone and encourages open communication. Listens attentively and actively.

Articulates ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.

AS or equivalent experience.

Ohio Nurse License BSL ACSL
