Assists the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations of the station and supervision of the Clinical Staff within the station. Acts as a liaison between staff and management and a positive role model for the Staff. Ensures Patient Satisfaction standards are met. Accountable for cost effective decision-making regarding daily assignment of clinical staff and use of supplies under the direction of the Practice Manager and in collaboration with the Administrative Lead. Functions as an active member of the clinical support staff.
Education, License, Certification Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Registered Nurse with Bachelor of Science preferred or equivalent experience. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Massachusetts. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience and Technical Skills Required:
At least 5 years of clinical experience with at least 1 year of ambulatory assessment and interventions experience.
Computer skills/Phone Triage experience a must have.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to communicate via written reports to manager; proficient with communication, team building and organizational skills; customer service excellence focused. Ability to prioritize, flexible and approachable. Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly/easily adapts. Proven experience in telephone nursing practice within an ambulatory practice setting and demonstrated leadership ability.
Should be a Staff Motivator, Change agent, and possess enhanced Interpersonal skills. Need someone with ability to meet phone metrics; accountability for own performance and that of the team.
Looking for a Nurse and Medical Assistant mentor with both phone and floor skills. This person will be the liaison for Nursing with Administration and Providers.
