Responsible for facilitating access to Froedtert Hospital and the
Medical College of Wisconsin for consulting/referring physicians. Accomplishes this by coordinating communication between consulting/referring physicians and MCW physicians
and facilitating appropriate patient transfers to Froedtert Hospital

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Current Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 7 years nursing experience required, 4-5 of which should be in an acute care setting. Experience in a variety of clinical settings, including an academic medical center preferred. Familiarity with the services offered at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin preferred. Prior utilization management experience preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and maintain effective contacts with a variety of hospital personnel.
Analytical skills necessary to prepare statistical reports, and develop solutions to problems concerning access to Froedtert & Medical College services.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when resolving access issues.
