DescriptionETHICON, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for aSales Representative for Johnson & Johnson Wound Management/Advanced Wound Care, located in Richmond, VA.ETHICON, Inc.develops and markets products within three divisions: Ethicon Products for wound closure and tissue repair; Johnson & Johnson Wound Management with biosurgical technologies to manage intra-operative bleeding and postoperative leaking, as well as advanced wound care products; and Ethicon Women's Health & Urology with minimally invasive gynecological and urological solutions in stress urinary incontinence, pelvic floor repair and uterine disorders.The role of the Advanced Wound Care Sales Representative is to expand the sales of Ethicon's medical products and to convert competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with company policy and sales direction. In this role, theSales Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper surgical use of our products to physicians. They will also need to demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. Additionally, they will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and persuasive and which leads the customer to action.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, at leasttwo years of outside selling experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, a valid driver's license in one of the 50 Statesand aclean driving record. The ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) is required.
The ability to work in a lab or an operating room environment is also required. It is preferred that candidates have documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan), isa self-starter with strong time management and planning skills, has the ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan, andis able to collaborate with other J&J associates (peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers), external companies (distributors) and KOL's. Operating room medical device sales experience is preferred.
