CITY: Arden Hills STATE: Minnesota COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Responsible for troubleshooting production test systems to support RF based products in the 300Mhz to 3GHz range. Determine root cause of production tester issues as required to achieve high FPY. Identify cost savings and first pass yield opportunities with production testers and production procedures. Incorporate RF product line changes as required by Engineering Change Orders. Transfer completed new product introductions to off site production facilities. Troubleshoot existing RF testers to increase output. Maintain configuration control for RF Testing platforms. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET certified program. Must have demonstrated hands-on RF experience. Must have at least 1 year experience in production test equipment development. Must have at least 1 year experience troubleshooting RF based test equipment in the 300MHz to 3GHz range. Must have a strong background in analog electronics and grounding practices. Must have the ability to work in SQL and Access databases. Must have the ability to work with programs in VB or C++, C# using Microsoft Development Studio. Must have a working knowledge of IEEE 488, RS232, RS485, USB 2.0 Must have prior use of a Spectrum Analyzer, network analyzers and RF signal generators. Must have the ability to interface with other engineering and production employees. Must be able to travel to offsite production facilities in Mexico and Asia as required.
