We are looking for qualified candidates to solicit referral sources to generate reverse mortgage loans, maintaining relationships while acting as a liaison between referral sources, borrowers, the Bank and the community.

Responsibilities: Originate reverse mortgage loans by developing and establishing contacts within the senior community. Originate reverse mortgages through marketing initiatives developed by the reverse mortgage team. Maintains a strong knowledge of reverse products and services and cross sells services to reverse mortgage clients. Works to establish and meet loan and cross sell referral sales goals in conjunction with department goals.

Duties: Meets average monthly sales goals as assigned by Sales Manager. Interviews and educates prospective reverse mortgage loan applicants. Prepares loan applications, submits loans into process through laptop computer and follows up on all loans in process. Maintains communication with all parties involved as to loan status. Assists department personell in obtaining necessary documentation to committ and close loans.

Requirements: A formal education through High School or equivalent; college degree a plus; along with a minimum of one year mortgage or outside sales experience.  This position also requires knowledge of reverse mortgage loan programs and underwriting requirements and a self motivated and results driven individual. Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. A proficiency is MS office and knowledge of laptop loan submissions. A valid drivers license, a good driving history and access to a vehicle for use in the course of the job.
