– People Count. Major Duties and Functions Include: This is a virtual office position. The selected candidate(s) can live in or nearby New Orleans, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Lafayette, LA; and/or Shreveport, LA. MetLife Bank, a subsidiary of MetLife Inc is looking to recruit and hire Reverse Mortgage Sales Consultants to market reverse mortgage products and services to the senior community. This dynamic industry has been growing at a rate of more than 40% per year. The company has begun to build its national network. As a result of our aggressive expansion program, we are looking for a highly motivated individual in this area, who wants to be part of our winning team. As a Reverse Mortgage Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the business development and loan production within an exclusive marketing territory. Your daily activities will include meeting with seniors to advise them on how our financial products may meet their financial needs, building a professional referral network, administering your territory's marketing program, making group presentations to financial professionals and senior groups, and following-up on leads both self-generated and company provided. You will participate in all activities required to bring a loan to closing.
What You Need to Succeed: We seek a motivated, success-oriented, patient, ethical, self starter who wants to maximize their career potential. At least 6 months experience with Reverse Mortgage sales. Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency and experience with contact management software. A highly professional appearance is a must. Successful completion of reverse mortgage originator training is required. This is a virtual office position. All reverse mortgage consultants are required to be primarily engaged in the sales of reverse mortgage products, and are required to be customarily and regularly outside of the office and outside of his/her home office making sales of reverse mortgages.
