Our innovations have led to Emmy® Awards and hundreds of filings for US patents as we introduce new must-have technologies into the TV viewing experience.    We make a commitment to challenge, inspire and reward the people who make the DIRECTV vision come to life - Come join our winning team! We are seeking Reverse Logistics Manager to support our External Repair Services (ERP) facilities located in Reynosa, Mexico. This position is a facilitator responsible for the implementing of solid process management in a supply chain operation that facilitates the repair and reverse logistics of our product. This is a liaison role that will present and interact with customers, and the internal functional teams to ensure programs results are achieved on time and within budget; make executives aware of issues and presents resolutions. The successful candidate selected must have the ability to manage support employees in a matrix environment and be proactive while continuously searching for ways to improve, motivate, and generate measurable results through influence.  Provide leadership and direction for responsible departmental functions and manage the day to day operations via the respective departmental structure.  Other Job functions include:Failure trend analysis - Review failure trend data to catch and investigate reoccurring failure trends by set top box type. ECO management - Manage onsite ECO compliance. Aged WIP management – Onsite management of WIP with the business partner. Support production enhancements - Onsite management of production changes and enhancements. OEM management – Manage onsite OEM activities, box capture, failure analysis and feedback, site visits. Requires five to seven years progressive operational experience managing electronics production line(s), warehousing, distribution center(s), reverse logistics and repair operations. Bachelor degree in Logistics, Business or a related field is required or the equivalent related work experience. Five years or more experience in logistics management in the technology – electronics sector. Must have highly developed leadership, management, communication (written & verbal) organizational, presentation, interpersonal, teambuilding, and customer service skills. Expert knowledge of material replenishment. Must have computer proficiency in MS Office. Create, maintain, and keep current monthly management reporting to focus on metrics, risk conditions and data comparisons to facilitate the review of key risk indicators. This position commands a high energy person that can influence and effectively facilitate meeting with the ability to work with teams and independently. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.Must be willing to travel at 60% within the U.S and MexicoEducation Bachelor’s degree in a technical/ analytical field (IT, Finance, Computer Science) is preferred.  CPM, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, APIC’s certifications a plus.
