Retail Tire Shop - Maintenance Technician Retail - Oklahoma City, OK

Under the guidance of the General Manager the qualified candidate will have the responsibility for aggressively driving Tire Sales and installation, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Grounds keeping through a thoroughly trained customer focused workforce; and ensure timely execution of company merchandising and operational programs. Technician will set the pace by demonstrating a high sense of urgency, high energy level, attention to detail and hands-on management. The qualified trainee will exhibit Love's pledge of "doing what is right for our employees". 

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for: 

    Tire Sales and Service

            - Sale, Removal, and Replacement of tires up to but not limited to Commercial Vehicles

            - Inventory Control 

    Roadside Assistance

            - Technician will be responsible for assisting customers with roeadside services up

                    to but to not limited to Jumpstarts, Fuel, and Vehicle Lockouts. 

    Maintenance

            - Technician will be responsible for maintaining store appearance both inside and out.

            - Technician will be responsible for equiptment repair and preventative maintenance.

            - Technician will be responsible for weekly and monthly projects.

Minimum Requirements:

·       Must be able to work a variety of shift including nights and weekend and a minimum

        of  35 hours a week.

·       1-2 years Experience in Tire or Lube Express environment a plus.

·       Maintenance background a plus.

·       Criminal Background, MVR, and Drug Screen required.

Abilities required:

·       Must be able to lift minimum 25 pounds. (ex. Tire Changing)

·       Must be able to work in close quarters. (ex. Commercial Vehicle Wheel Wells)

·       Mechanically Inclined

·       Must be able to follow directions

·       Must be able to learn new skills quickly.
