Retail Store Management - Opportunities available w/in Southern, VA area
As a Store Manager,job number one is building a great team. As the leader of a small team you can really see your impact on the sales and profits of your operation. If you like relationship retail and selling, this job is for you. TSC managers wear a lot of different hats and are very hands on in daily operations,inventory control, merchandising and all other facets of retail. You will manage from the sales floor and not from an office.
Responsibilities:
•Achieve store sales and profit plans.
•Provide leadership and direction to team. Hire and staff the best.
•Effectively coordinate store operating activities
•Manager operating expenses and control shrink of 15-16,000 sku count.
•Spend a majority of time in operation serving customers and team.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of two years hard lines retail management experience required.
•High School diploma or the equivalent.
•Bachelor Degree in agricultural-science or business related field desired.
•P&L, Scheduling and payroll management experience required.
•Shrink control experience required.
•Team member staffing, hiring, supervision and counseling experience required.
•Must have a Valid Driver’s License if you drive for company business.
Store Management candidates begin in a training capacity. Temporary relocation to the district training store may be required depending on your current residence. Once training is complete, permanent relocation is typically required within a district. Relocation assistance is provided.
