Store Manager
Our Bernina Retail Operation is seeking an experienced retail store manager for our following location:
Indianapolis, Indiana

Working for Bernina of America, Inc., inside a Hancock Fabrics location, will allow you to share your expertise with enthusiastic consumers.
Responsibilities:
· Meet/exceed sales goals while maintaining the budget
· Recruit, interview and hire staff; establish work schedules, institute development plans, set productivity and performance standards for employees; evaluate staff performance.
· Implement merchandising presentations and coordinate in-store promotions, sales, etc.
· Perform daily/weekly reports and audits; prepare bank deposits.
· Train staff to develop buying, selling and customer service skills.
· Cultivate an open forum for employees to express ideas/suggestions. Conduct regular store meetings.
· Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards and maintain adequate store inventory.
Competencies:
· 3-5 years of progressive retail management experience.
· Proven leadership skills
· Ability to drive sales in a customer centered environment
Other Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
