Walmart Sales Analyst

Young, exciting Women’s Apparel company in mid-town Manhattan, NYC, seeks exceptional Sales Analyst to deal with our Walmart account.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

-Analyze Retail Link data and POS forecast to collaborate with supply chain and

update Walmart weekly and monthly sales, inventory and shipping reports.

-Add value to the Walmart sales process via category and market expertise including analysis of the sales data, development of sales presentations and detailed analysis of the business.

-Responsible for category data mining and ad hoc reports as requested by internal customers and Walmart.

-Work with replenishment manager to identify opportunities for improvements in forecasting, etc.

-Work closely with operations management to track process of work orders, and liquidate unshipped inventory.

-Develop an understanding of our pricing activity and assist in the overall development of the resources, tools, and analytical processes designed to develop our business with Walmart.

-Contribute to the development of strategic plans for product development and new item introductions.

-Write single store orders based upon specific store POS and inventory history.

-Create and maintain Retail Link queries

Qualifications:

***3 years experience in sales analysis, with a minimum of 1 year dealing with Walmart.

-Demonstrable knowledge of  Walmart Retail Link system

-Excellent Excel spreadsheet capabilities

-Exceptional analytical skills

-Experience dealing with large decentralized retail institutions

-Ability to deal with rapidly changing organizational issues

-Ability to work under pressure.

-Strong problem-solving skills

-BA in related discipline
