Our Client, operator of a highly successful casual dine restaurant in Fairbanks, Alaska is looking to recruit a dynamic individual (or couple) for the position of General Manager / Operating Partner . This opportunity is very well suited for a couple/team.

Fairbanks, located 358 miles north of Anchorage and 188 miles south of the Arctic Circle is called "The Golden Heart of Alaska" a reference to the character of her people as much as to the location in Alaska's interior. Its central location makes it the focal point for the many villages scattered throughout the area, and Fairbanks is a staging point for North Slope villages such as Barrow and the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay. Yet, unlike Anchorage, it still retains its down home "frontier" feel.

The General Manager will be responsible for driving store performance; maintaining established guidelines, policies and procedures; achieving high operational standards; managing a team of staff including hiring, training and coaching; ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service; controlling costs and managing budgets; ensuring efficient implementation of promotional programs; and for all aspects of day-to-day management. He/she will be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual or couple. 

The ideal candidate is a top performing restaurant operator with high volume, full service experience in the casual dine sector. He/she is a self-motivated, well-organized individual committed and driven by results, with a high degree of business/financial acumen and highly developed management and leadership skills. You are an enthusiastic, high-energy, hands-on manager who has the ability to lead and inspire others. A positive team player, you build loyal and motivated teams and as a skilled trainer you enjoy the role of coach and mentor. You are also service focused and take great pride in providing your customers with a high quality and consistent experience. The successful candidate will have a healthy entrepreneurial spirit with the passion, enthusiasm and work ethic to match.
