Southwest Minnesota (Near Minneapolis/Sioux Falls)

 

My client is a 150 bed regional medical center located in Southwestern Minnesota who is part of the largest healthcare network in the region. They are a very patient focused health system and are voluntarily participating in the Hospital Quality Initiative Demonstration (HQID) to prove that their philosophy of high quality healthcare produces better results with patients and lowers costs. They have also been voted in the top 100 wired hospitals in the nation, using cutting edge IT practices and equipment to smooth work flow and increase patient care quality/consistency

 

The position would involve seeing patients in a 25 bed critical access hospital, including newborns/elders, and code situations. The employee would work rotating 10 hour shifts, and have every third weekend on call. The position will report to the Director of Nursing, and there are currently 2 other Respiratory Therapists on staff that will provide training and mentoring for new hires

 

The selected candidate will have an Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred) in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed (or eligible) to practice in the state of Minnesota. Experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome!
