RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTIONIER I OR II

 

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available

 

Full time & Per Diem - Variable shifts

 

SUMMARY:

Administers respiratory therapy and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the supervision of physician and prescription. The population served ranges all age groups, from the newborn to the geriatric patient.

 

RCP I

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a school of respiratory therapy. Respiratory license as a Practitioner of Respiratory Care issued by the state of Nevada is required as is current CPR certification. ACLS and NRP cards preferred. Previous experience in an acute hospital preferred.

RCP II :

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a school of respiratory therapy. Respiratory license as a Practitioner of Respiratory Care issued by the state of Nevada required. Three (3) years experience in respiratory therapy and pulmonary medicine in an acute care setting. Current CPR, ACLS and NRP certifications required upon hire.
