Participates in challenging environmentally relevant research by working on projects to understand biologic mechanisms of the action of chemical toxicity; assists with research focused upon developing input into experimental design and increasing independence: prepares and conducts experiments on primary cell cultures; performs enzyme assays; conducts Western and Northern blotting, PCR and construction of probes in vectors; manages and orders lab supplies and maintains equipment; gathers data and performs analysis.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred; Molecular experience helpful, some hands on lab experience essential; and excellent organizational skills.
