This company provides kits, reagents, and services that help researchers explore questions about gene discovery, regulation, and function. A broad background in the field of cell biology is required for this position; the candidate will be involved in the development of assays for cell biological applications. Responsibilities include a strong commitment to working on the bench, performing data analysis, trouble shooting and working closely with other scientists in the R&D team to create innovations for customers in the life sciences. Requirements A Ph.D. in Cell Biology with at least two years post doctoral experience is needed. The candidate must be able to initiate and investigate new project ideas, plans and execute evaluations in a timely manner to develop a project into a product. Experience in the reagent market and development and use of reporter systems like Luciferase or fluorescent protein based assays is valuable but not required. This is a direct placement opportunity.
