A position at the Research Associate level in Oncology Pharmacology is now open and will focus on the characterization and use of novel in vivo disease models. These models will be employed to demonstrate the importance of selected pathways and the efficacy of possible therapeutics for malignant disease. The work may involve using gene silencing and virus-based technologies in vitro, as well.
Qualifications

Requirements include a Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent degree and experience in the handling and use of mouse disease models; more than 2 years of experience in either an academic or industrial setting is strongly preferred. Skills needed include one or more of the following: basic molecular biology, cell biology, primary mammalian cell culture, generation and use of viral gene transfer vectors, or in vivo mouse disease model use. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills are also necessary, as are creative and analytical thinking.
