Successful candidate will function as a member Cancer Pathways Department and will play an integral part in the development of emerging drug candidates.

A focus will be on developing biomarkers that predict sensitivity to drug candidates and also in developing rational drug combinations for clinical testing.

These efforts involve testing biomarker hypotheses by correlating drug sensitivity with candidate biomarker, genetic manipulation of candidates biomarkers and assessment of signaling through key oncogenic pathways.
Qualifications

Qualifications include a BS/MS degree, and strong technical skills and experience in cell and molecular biology techniques. Essential skills include cell culture, cell growth assays, western blotting, molecular cloning (e.g. creation of DNA constructs), RNA interference and qRT-PCR, and familiarity with automation methods for cell and molecular biology. Experience with bioinformatics is also highly desirable. It is critical that the candidate is an enthusiastic team player with effective communication skills.
