Life on dialysis can be a difficult transition for many of our patients.   You will play a vital role in helping our patients and their families learn how to cope with the effects of kidney disease. As a support mechanism and advocate for our patients you will help them to understand their rights and responsibilities as well educating them on coping with the physical, mental, emotional and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease.  Your ability to influence and educate our patients and their families will be critical, and your stellar performance will be rewarded.

To Drive the DeLorean You’ll Need:

The passion and desire to help patients live better lives

A can-do attitude

Master's degree in social work ( MSW )

Licensed or registered, as required by state regulations

At least two years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting preferred

Capable of communicating effectively and compassionately with all types of physically and mentally disabled patients and their families

Strong interviewing and assessment skills

Strong attention to patient confidentiality
