Responsibilities:
You will be employed to architect, deploy, support, and in some cases, train users on the BMC Remedy product set. Candidate should have successfully deployed of 7.x SLM and the Atrium CMDB 2.x.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Develop and deploy SLMs (SLAs) for key business processes using BMC Remedy SLM 7.x
2. Configuration and integration with Remedy Atrium CMDB
3. Development and customization of BMC Remedy applications
4. Deliver design specifications after attending “Requirements Analysis” sessions and customer workshops
5. Scope and develop custom applications
6. Provide system and customization documentation
7. System troubleshooting
8. Implement integrations to the BMC Remedy applications
9. Provide technical assistance on pre-sales calls and demos
10. Assist the Frontline Support when not working on active projects
11. Provide project leadership and project management
12. Mentor junior engineers
Required Skills/Experience/Education:
1. A four-year undergraduate degree
2. Demonstrated mastery of documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; Adobe Acrobat; a graphics editing package such as Photoshop, etc.)
3. References indicating a proven track record of working well with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) AND with non-technical managers and project stakeholders
4. Experience in business process and/or technical consulting
5. Experience with IT systems and technology platforms
6. Experience defining and leading IT improvement projects
Preferred Experience/Education
1. Project management experience (on documentation projects)
2. Experience with ITIL best practices
3. Experience with Remedy software products (also good: software in the same general class and category, as concepts will be familiar)
4. Experience with PRINCE2 project management methodology (also good: PMI project management experience)
5. Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Asset Management
6. Knowledge of ITIL and other IT Best Practices frameworks (ideally, Foundations-certified) (also good: Six Sigma, CMMI, other methodologies)
7. Experience with SDLC tools and methodologies
