We currently have a position open for a degreed individual to initiate small business and small commercial real estate loans with both for- and non-profit entities serving the neighborhoods of Ypsilanti, MI. You will be responsible for establishing relationships within the community for the purpose of providing economic development opportunities and for providing information to other lines of business within our bank. We will also rely on you to help coach the lenders and support staff on the team.

To qualify, we require a minimum of 2 years' lending experience plus strong credit skills gained from knowledge of small business/SBA lending, real estate underwriting, and deal structuring. Expertise with public sector loan programs and community resources is also essential, as are strong communication and PC skills. Sensitivity to the financial needs of low-to-moderate income neighborhoods and communications will be expected, too.
