Job Title: Relationship Manager - New Customer Acquisition - San Francisco, CA Responsibilities: Responsible for acquiring new business revenue within the U.S. Middle Markets by positioning D&B’s DUNSRight value proposition and developing business relationships for D&B’s risk management, sales & marketing and supply management solutions. Revenue will be acquired solely through the development of new customer acquisition. Prospect for, identify, and cultivate sales lead opportunities within a defined set of prospects in a defined geographical territory. Acquire and maintain knowledge about customers’ business practices and functions, particularly in risk management, sales & marketing and supply chain management; understand the relationship between the customers’ business and how D&B’s products/services help overcome their challenges and capture opportunities. Prepare and deliver DUNSRight value presentations to executive-level audiences. Remain knowledgeable about key business trends and communicate pertinent insights to prospective customers. Effectively manage and communicate with manager and sales team regarding the sales process, and be proficient in use of sales force automation tools.
Qualifications: Demonstrated sales ability (identify, nurture and close revenue opportunities); assertive, persistent, good listener, and self-motivated. 5+ years experience in acquiring and developing new business relationships in a business/professional services environment. Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota-driven goals. Excellent negotiator, strong presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
