We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on! A Relationship Manager (RM) in Commercial Treasury Solutions (CTS) is responsible for driving deposit and fee income growth by deepening Commercial Group existing relationships and growing new business in targeted segments This role is supported by internal departments including: Sales Support, Commercial Account Services, Treasury Management Services, and Credit Managers.

The CTS programs include innovative deposit and cash management solutions for strategic and complex clients. In addition to managing relationships in targeted industries, CTS manages depository and fee income relationships for Commercial Group business lines such as Multi-family Lending, Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Mortgage Lending, and Community Lending.

Strong candidates have excellent selling and presentation skills, know financial services, and are extremely competitive and motivated by an aggressive incentive plan. RMs are high-energy people with strong selling skills: they won't take no for an answer. If you possess these traits and qualifications and want to work for an industry leader whose goal is to dominate the business, please apply online. ·        Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred ·       2+ years of work related experience in financial services with emphasis in high volume sales origination is preferred

        2+ years of client relationship management and/or portfolio management experience with emphasis on retaining and growing portfolio, working with 

        complex clients, and offering creative client solutions

·        Strong working knowledge of regulations, compliance standards, market trends, and products relating to the banking industry; knowledge of deposit          and treasury management services ·        Superior analytical and decision-making skills based on risk assessments ·        Proficient PC skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft products ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·        Outstanding leadership and customer service skills     Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
