Description: Provide assistance for the preparation of federal (Medicare) and state (DHCFP 403) cost reports documents, as follows:
Collect, summarize and analyze data for expenses, patient statistics and overhead allocations utilizing general ledgers, billing records and other source documents
Create databases in support of cost report information
Enter data into specialized cost report software (KPMG Compumax)
Assist in the distribution, collection and processing of time studies
Assist in supporting cost report(s) at time of third party audits
Prepare other reports and perform additional analyses as requested.
Strive to establish a working knowledge of government regulations and an ability to research changes in regulations. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting preferred
2. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access
3. Strong analytical and financial skills
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
5.
