Air Products Healthcare, one of the top five providers of home respiratory products and services in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.(NYSE:APD), is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician in our Warwick, RI location. Job Description: The Rehab Technician is responsible for promptly completing repair, warranty, assembly, and delivery of rehabilitation equipment. Works in team environment with local Rehab operations and sister companies. Job Responsibilities: -Complete delivery and service of Rehab Equipment and accessories. -Assemble new manual rehab equipment to be delivered. -Complete appropriate documentation of service performed to ensure proper billing. -Maintain workload that provides timely customer service. -Facilitate the ordering of the correct parts and equipment. -Maintain repair vehicle to company standards including completion of preventative maintenance and proper parts and tool stock. -Complete training necessary to remain current on all Rehab products and accessories. -Maintain detailed records of all repairs and deliveries. -Completes home assessment as part of JCAHO National patient safety goals. -Work with Rehab RTS and Coordination team on timely delivery of rehab equipment to patients and referral sources. Job Qualifications: -Basic mechanical ability -Good Interpersonal Skills -Proficiency with Windows-based computers; working knowledge MS Office including Outlook -Must have working knowledge electrical troubleshooting and experience with hand tools -Possess basic map reading skills -Good verbal and written communication skills -Valid driver’s license required -At least 1-3 years experience, 3-5 years preferred -High School Diploma/equivalent required, professional certification preferred We offer our employees competitive salary and benefits programs to include a 401k plan with company match, paid vacation and more.
