About Our Facility HEALTHSOUTH Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River is located at the beautiful Jersey Shore. For the past 40 years we have served the New Jersey community offering several dynamic post acute levels of care. Our diversified services include: 92 licensed inpatient rehabilitation beds, 24 licensed special care nursing facility (SCNF) beds, 13 skilled nursing facility (SNF) beds and two (2) outpatient satellites located in Toms River and Jackson, New Jersey. The 92 licensed inpatient rehabilitation and two (2) outpatient satellites are accredited by The Joint Commission. Job Description Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Bathes, dresses and undresses patients, and assists with personal hygiene. May serve and collect food trays, and provide between-meal nourishment. Transports and drapes patients for examinations and treatments. Takes and records tempatures, pulse, etc., as directed. changes bed linen and runs errands. May clean, sterilize, store and prepare treatment trays and other supplies. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties.
