About Our Facility HealthSouth Regional Specialty Hospital is a 68 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital serving South Central PA's most critically ill patients with average LOS of 25 days or greater. We are less than 2 hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore and serve a large geographical area including the states of Maryland and West Virginia. Job Description To provide direct care to assigned patients with multi-system diagnoses during a specified tour of duty according to nursing guidelines, policy and procedure. To apply, as part of the interdisciplinary team the nursing process for each assigned patient. This position is responsible for providing basic nursing and/or therapy care to patients including data collection (vital signs, I&O, weight, etc.), assistance in all functional areas (mobility/locomotion, activities of daily living), and maintaining safety, hygiene, and skin care. Functions under the direction of the RN/LPN or therapist. Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, orderly environment in work area and provides other support services as directed to facilitate efficient and effective operations in a pristine manner.
