Pope John Paul II Center for Health Care joined Harborside Healthcare in 2006. After twenty years in the Danbury area Harborside formed a partnership with the diocese of Bridgeport to provide world-class healthcare while maintaining the catholic identity and mission of the center. The Diocese remains an important part of life in the center, providing for the pastoral and spiritual needs of the catholic residents.
Currently we are looking for a full time and a part time registered nurse supervisor for our 3 - 11 shift. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities in the facility. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained.

Requirements
To qualify for this position you must possess the follow attributes and credentials:
* Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
* Ability to function as an effective team member and leader through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental goals, to develop/maintain positive personnel relations and employee morale.
* Ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive feedback.
* Ability to understand, control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
* Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
* Ability to respect residents including those who have impaired cognition.
* Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.
* Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.
* Completed a Registered Nurse program.
* Active RN license in Connecticut.
