About Our Facility HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Virginia is a 40-bed inpatient hospital with an outpatient and day program, specializing in orthopaedic, stroke, pulmonary, and deconditioned patients. Comprehensive MS Center, nationally certified Pulmonary Program, and a recognized Stroke Center of Excellence. Located in historic Richmond, the state capitol, we are centrally located and easily accessible to three major interstates, just a short drive to mountains, beaches, the nation's capitol, major cultural and sporting events (home of the VCU Rams and Richmond International Raceway), historical sites (Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown), and much more. Job Description Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. May assist with operations and deliveries.
