Overview:  MedSide’s Private Duty Registered Professional Nurses supervise the provision of medical oversight to ensure that each client is served effectively and safely in their home.  The RN is responsible for: (1) initial evaluations, periodic re-evaluations and progress notes on each client’s medical needs, (2) development, coordination and revision of each client’s Care Plan, (3) assignment of tasks to non-licensed personnel and (4) training and evaluation of non-licensed personnel.

Qualifications:

§           Graduate of an approved Professional Nursing Program

§           Current  licensure, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions, in the State of Georgia

§           Must be able to effectively communicate in Russian and English both verbally and in writing

§           Be eligible to work in the U.S.A.

§           Possess a caring and understanding attitude toward individuals who are elderly, disabled or frail

§           Experience working with older populations is preferred

§           Be flexible and tolerant of varied lifestyles

§           Strong assessment and documentation skills

§           Current CPR certification

§           Have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, often under pressure, and be flexible to changes in priorities

§           Ability to travel throughout the Metro Atlanta counties of Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb & Gwinnett
