Registered Nurse – Flight

My client is a Regional Medical Center located in North Eastern South Dakota providing comprehensive medical coverage to the surrounding 10 counties. The facility offers several "regional level" services that are not available elsewhere including a cardiovascular cath lab, 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, Level-II Nursery, inpatient rehab center, and 24-hour emergency flight helicopter service.

I’ve been contracted by this hospital to locate top talent in Flight Nursing for their emergency helicopter service. The flight crew is the only in the state to use night vision technology to dramatically reduce the risk during night rescue situations and provide an extra layer of safety for missions that require rapid transport of critically injured patients. In addition, the facilities roomy Bell 407 helicopter easily accommodates the crew of pilot, paramedic and flight nurse, as well as enabling transport of critical patients to larger hospitals in the region for treatment.

I’m looking for individuals who have their Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 1 year of experience in flight nursing or prior critical care experience to fill this role. Candidates must also have a current South Dakota License, or be eligible. ABI/BLS/TNCC/PALS/ACLS/NRP/Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support training are a plus!
