 The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care. Accountable that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. Evaluate/interpret this clinical information, and identify potential inconsistencies or errors for correction by nursing or medical staff. Perform routine audits of all clinical information residing in internal or external registries/databases. Assist as needed in retrospective research and QI projects Provide training to new fellows, residents and staff physicians on internal and external registries/databases. Serve as a clinical expert for the maintenance and configuration of internal databases/registries Research related presentations Basic project management for QI and audit projects Provide Clinical Office Care for Non-Transplant Patients that have Liver and/or Pancreas related medical issues.   Successful candidates should possess:   REQUIRED SKILLS: ·  Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) ·  Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts ·  Strong Critical Thinking Skills   EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ·  Research or work within medical field, 3-5 years ·  Familiarity with patient charts/records   EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing Current TX RN licensure or eligibility to obtain 3-5 years of experience as an RN Required. Experience working with Liver and Kidney Transplant Patients.
