Registered Nurse – Critical Care/Intensive Care

My client is a Regional Medical Center located in North Eastern South Dakota providing comprehensive medical coverage to the surrounding 10 counties. The facility offers several "regional level" services that are not available elsewhere including a cardiovascular cath lab, 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, level-II nursery, inpatient rehab center, and 24-hour emergency flight helicopter service.

I’ve been contracted by this hospital to locate top talent in Critical Care/Intensive Care Nursing. The brand new ICU was part of a recent hospital addition, and is equipped for complex critical care. The unit has 10 accredited beds with one nursing station for each pair of rooms and an advanced uplink to the networks 800 bed flagship hospital which provides an additional layer of monitoring, and a team of highly skilled ICU/CCU team to serve as consultants during high volume periods. The ICU is also equipped with a family lounge area complete with a kitchen and bathroom/shower and staffed with volunteers to assist families in their time of need.

I’m looking for individuals who have their Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 3 years of experience in a ICU/CCU nursing setting to fill this role. Candidates must also have a current South Dakota License, or be eligible. BLS/ACLS/PALS/ABI training a plus!
