JOB SUMMARY: Field Regional Account Managers (RAMs) are responsible for solution selling and developing new business for the Sage Software Employer Services Division based in St. Petersburg Florida. The Field RAM will cover a geographic region working directly with top Business Partners to assist in deeper penetration of Sage Software ES products and services in the local marketplace. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Field RAM will act as a liaison between internal and external cross functional teams. Extensive interaction with the Business Partner community relating to sales and strategic planning are critical responsibilities in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for sales and quota achievement for the defined products & services as outlined in the most current compensation plan. - Provide accurate forecasting of all business activities related to revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis - Knowledge of all Sage Software products and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to the customers, users and technical support, as well as Sage Software employees and third parties deemed appropriate by Sage Software management. - Key account planning and strategy to maximize account penetration of products and services - Ability to provide demonstrations of all Sage Software products in both onsite and remote environments. - Ability to coordinate and execute marketing plans via electronic distribution and through regional on-site seminars with Business Partners. - Ability to travel up to 30% of the work period.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION: - Experience in executive level sales to the Mid-Market organizations (100-3000 employees) - 5-7 years outside software sales (team-based sales model a plus) - Consistent track record of over $1M annual sales quota achievement - Demonstrated ability sell in a complex sales environment within a multi departmental buying process that includes both products and implementation services - Experience selling in both a direct and indirect channel required - Application sales (CRM/ERP/HR/Payroll) experience required - Bachelors degree or higher education level
