FOUNDED IN 1999, Lexington, KY-based Big Ass Fans, an ISO 9001:2000 company, quickly became the world’s premier designer, manufacturer and seller of high volume/low speed industrial ceiling fans. Big Ass Fans is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Representative to join our Engineering Department.

WHAT ARE BIG ASS FANS? They are 6-24 ft. diameter, virtually-silent industrial and commercial ceiling fans designed to provide comfort while reducing energy consumption. Big Ass Fans have applications in industries such as: Agriculture, Athletics, Aviation, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Outside Regional Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Representative, will be responsible for both generating new customers and managing relationships with existing customers. Our current opening is in the San Antonio, TX area. The ideal candidate will have recent consultative sales experience, identifying customers and decision makers within the industrial/commercial markets (selling HVAC, material handling, capital equipment, or similar products). The candidate should also have extensive knowledge of the territory and a history of top performance. Essential functions of the position:
Develop periodic business plans specific to the territory. Successfully implement a Consultative selling strategy for industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, and commercial customers. Effectively communicate with inside sales support team. Prioritize daily appointments and tasks while effectively pursuing new business opportunities. Must effectively develop and manage a sub-contractor network that offers an optimal solution to our customers for product installations and multi-location projects. Provide periodic reports on activity and performance. Willingness to travel required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proven ability of successfully growing a sales territory. Experience successfully managing end-user sales in conjunction with distributor sales. Experience coordinating multiple projects and product installations with sub-contractors. BS in Engineering preferred. 5 years capital equipment consultative sales experience a MUST. Excellent presentation skills. Professional appearance and communication skills, a MUST.
