RSM position is responsible for sales to large and strategic opportunities within a defined region and/or industry.   This position will be a Regional Sales Role based in our Pleasanton, CA office.  TUVR professional services include: 

Engineering services Product design and development Product testing Vendor management International regulatory compliance (product) ISO9000 registration FDA compliance services

 

Industries serviced include:  Medical Devices, Telecommunications/Networking, Semiconductors, Industrial Machinery, Consumer Goods/Retail, Aerospace/Auto/Rail, etc.  Position will require up to 50% travel within region, and national/international travel may be required. 

 

Position Requirements: 

Experience working with Global 500 manufacturers is key to success.  Network of senior decision-making contacts is a major plus.  Ability to identify, approach and effectively communicate a strategic, value-based message to decision makers is an absolute requirement.  Successful history of revenue accomplishment is required, and success in selling complex services of any type is a plus.  Knowledge of product/process engineering standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL, etc) is desired, but engineering background is not required.  5-10 years minimum in industry is desired, but will consider candidates with less experience based on successful recent history.   Must demonstrate senior-level sales skills including proposal writing, negotiation, effective closing and program management.
