Major Duties and Functions Include:

THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME POSITION - BASED IN ST. LOUIS, MO

Incumbent is responsible for initiating and developing profitable premium growth through Independent Agent Sales efforts. Develop and implement annual sales and profit plan for region including strategies, in line with Company’s goals and objectives. Work with Independent Agents to meet and/or exceed pre-developed production, profitability and retention goals. Manages financial services sales development by building networks of qualified agents for products offered, partnering with MetLife and affiliated companies, Life Insurance training, and financial services sales planning. Responsible for building brand and name recognition for MetLife through media, advertising, and public relations events. Negotiate agency commitments and contract/commitments. Administration of agent recognition and rewards programs. Work in tandem with partners in Underwriting, Services, Claims, and Market Strategy to ensure achievement of planed results. Skills: Develop and manage sales and marketing plans and programs. Strength in written and verbal communication in both one-on-one and group settings. Analyzes and evaluates agency/regional performance and profitability and implements strategies for desired results. Develops and conducts agency training programs. Will attain appropriate licenses, including Life, and educational requirements. Maintains ongoing personal and professional development What You Need to Succeed:

Minimum of 5 years personal lines P&C marketing experience. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Lotus Notes. Strong service oriented background.
