Regional Sales Manager

Executive Vice President, U.S. Division

DUTIES
Manage and develop the assigned region territory to exceed the sales/market share objectives Identify, secure and develop distribution channel partners to exceed market coverage and penetration objectives Identify, secure and develop new customers (OEM’s and End Users) and drive business through Winters’ channel partners Develop a solid working relationship with new or existing customers and distributors, and provide technical knowledge and sales support as required Develop, in conjunction with the Executive Vice President, an annual sales plan outlining strategic initiatives to strengthen regional market place brand presence and exceed sales objectives Grow sales while maintaining gross margin profitability consistent with annual budgets and corporate objectives Routinely make joint sales calls, when appropriate in conjunction with key distribution partners in support of mutual sales efforts and initiatives Prepare and present quarterly sales review outlining progress with respect to achieving objectives Prepare monthly activity reports as required and maintain an active opportunity pipeline Perform product knowledge and training seminars for distributor personnel, engineers, contractors, OEMs and end users as required Work with engineering firms and key end users to develop specification approval for Winters products Attend industry/distributor related trade shows and open houses as required Maintain a sense of urgency and a pursuit of excellence On a daily basis, ensure you operate with Winters’ Core Values of teamwork, respect, integrity and passion in your communications and interactions with internal and external customers/partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of proven sales growth in the instrumentation industry (gauges, valves, fittings, etc) or related field, preferably at a manufacturing level, and with a strong network of contacts Excellent communications and presentation skills Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up Superior organizational and planning skills Performs well in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with ease Aggressive, passionate and driven in your approach to succeed Fully computer literate and able to operate independently with current technology and sales tools
