Headquartered in Austin, TX, Trillion is the leading national provider of Priority 1 E-Rate eligible services for wireless wide area networks and voice services in K-12 schools nationwide. We serve 1,500 sites and manage networks to help schools deliver better educational outcomes for 500,000+ students.
The Regional Sales Manager will meet or exceed company objectives of the assigned territory. To accomplish this goal, the Regional Sales Manager will be expected to develop a customer base and conduct face to face meetings with potential customers. This includes creating and executing a sales and customer support strategy targeting schools and municipalities in the region. This will require at least 50% overnight travel in the multi-state territory.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prospect identification and research Sales presentations and follow-up Development of customer specific solutions after a thorough analysis of customer requirements Proposal creation and presentation Customer contact for all questions Customer liaison during construction and installation phase Ongoing account management Active participation in related industry/education associations and working groups
Requirements:
The requirements for this position include:
Someone who lives the Trillion Value System 2-3 years experience in telecommunications and networking Knowledge of wireless transport networks and systems Knowledge and experience in Internet and related applications Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screenMust have a current valid drivers license and excellent driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years, no DUI or DWI convictions)Must currently reside in the territory posted7+ years sales experience in enterprise technology based sales2+ years experience in the K-12 education sector as sales, administration, instruction or technologyCan function independently with PC knowledge, computer skills, ability to set up and operate demonstration equipmentCan set up and operate a home office and associated technology

Bachelors Degree preferred
