PWM is looking for a professional, self disciplined, energetic and ambitious Regional Sales Manager for the West Region of the United States. This position is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing accounts in the following states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. The selected candidate can live anywhere within this territory and will coordinate the sales activities out of his/her home office. The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing sales strategies for the territory, monitoring activities of competitors, and communication between PWM and the market place.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for new client development and management of designated territory.
- Identifies and develops new prospects through market research, existing
business relationships and cold calling.
- Experience in developing strategic sales initiatives which develop a pipeline process of constantly generating new business which grows territory revenue.
- Participation on Trade shows and industry events.
- Providing effective presentations to customers at all levels.
- Establishes sales contacts, understands customer needs and meets or exceeds customer expectations with regard to fulfilling current orders or needs.
- Posses the ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each customer organization in the territory.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants will posses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- 5+ years track record of successful business to business, outside sales or industrial sales.
- Effective verbal and communication skills, excellent time management, decision making, human relations. Comfortable on the phone with executives. (potential customers)
- Self disciplined with excellent work ethics.
- Highly self motivated and strong success driven professional.
- Experience in the petroleum industry advantageous, but not a requirement.
- Posses a valid drivers license and is willing and able to operate employee’s own vehicle.
- Position requires extensive travel (80%) by car or aircraft. Travel expenses covered by PWM based on company policies.
- Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office and CRM software
